According to the person who posted this series on our website : "C'est dans le quotidien "France Soir" que les Français découvrent Harry, un 17 Janvier 1976." Which translates to : "It is in the daily publication "France Soir" that French readers discovered Harry, on 17th January 1976". Does that help at all?

Sorry, that should have been "early 1979", not "late 1979".

I was wondering if Harry Chase was published anywhere else before it was published as albums? The reason for this question is that here in Sweden the second adventure, "Drole de bobine", was published in a comic book in late 1979 and the album seems to have come out in april 1980.
